Tracking Your Cycle - TCM style!
This workshop is going to change the way you relate to your cycle ladies.
Chinese medicine holds some gems in relation to finding your way through the menstrual cycle, especially for those who find it hard to navigate from month to month.
From feeling moody, to irregular bleeding, to trying to get pregnant, to perimenopuase - this workshop will cover So many aspects of the menstrual cycle from a Chinese medicine perspective, alongside the western principles.
One main focus is how you can use temperature tracking to support your goals (some might be mentioned above!), and to use this data to your advantage.
This workshop is for you if you
are curious about your cycle
are currently trying to get pregnant and have found it is taking longer than anticipated
are getting ready to start trying for a baby
feel unsure about how to manage your hormonal changes in the cycle
are potentially in perimenopause
have irregular periods
have absent periods
have endometriosis, adenomyosis or any other pelvic inflammatory conditions
have been diagnosed (or not diagnosed even!) with PCOS
are a young woman who would like to know more about her cycle
are a mature woman who would like to know more about her cycle!
Tracking your cycle can be done in a variety of ways, and this workshop will take you through
the steps of BBT tracking (basal body temperature tracking)
how to use the thermometer properly, and what thermometers are the most suited
how to analyse the results via a Chinese medicine context AND a brief guide into Western interpretations of temperature tracking
the different phases from a Chinese medicine perspective and how women can work with their bodies in each phase
who you can share the results with to get support
what apps are useful for menstrual cycle tracking
and how this valuable information can help you predict and plan aspects of your life
Dr. Rebecca brook (BHSc Acu, PGCert Sexology) views the cycle in waves of FOUR PHASES, based on Chinese medicine principles. This flows between yin (follicular phase) and yang energy (luteal phase). This workshop will help you determine what waves are challenging for you, and determine down to the day where these fluctuations begin and end.

Dr. Rebecca Brook is an AHPRA Registered Acupuncturist/Dr. of Chinese Medicine, Remedial Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist, Childbirth Educator, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher. She has extensive experience in all areas of the menstrual cycle, from supporting young women just starting their journey, right through to postmenopausal patients.
Having completed postgraduate studies in Sexology, she hopes to bring to life a few areas of interest in dynamic and informative webinars during 2025.
